AdMob Integration - New SDK

Postby ryubr » Fri Apr 29, 2011 7:23 am

Hello Friends,

I have the Admob on one of my apps with OBJ-C mix. Google just updated the Admob SDK and provided a new version of it at http://code.google.com/mobile/ads/docs/ ... ntals.html

I was reading the docs and browsed the sources, it seems very different from the previous one, so it is not just a matter to update the library :-(

They changed many things, the previous SDK had much more source files, I think they changed it to add more functions like iAds with HTML 5 features for ads. Sunny or friends, can you help me (and others like me that rely on Admob to get revenue from our apps) to integrate this new SDK on our apps with OBJ-C mix since it is not that simple?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Sunny,

Did you have a chance to look into this? I tried today to integrate the new code but they changed too much :-( My best shot didn't work. As they activate the Adsense for the Admob accounts, this new SDK can provide us much higher fill rates.

Thanks again :-)

+1 for me on this one! We could all use this one as the iAds do not produce as much since they have limited distribution on a world wide basis.

Hi

Wondering if anyone had got this working and could share some sample code.

I really want to add admob to my app and have it displaying when there are no iads available.

Would really appreciate if anyone has already done this if they could share.

Thanks

Oops, just noticed Sunny's working on it - I'm sure his code will be neater than mine!
