Yes, also it's under heavy development now, there was a big problem with iOS compatibility as Android UI APIs are very different from iOS ones, but now when compatibility layer is done things go pretty fast.

Hi Sunny,

So, does that mean we will have a version of NK that supports both iOS and Android?
That so cool, with the functionalities of iOS, it is already beyond PhoneGap and easier than Titanium. When use the same script but support Android as well, it will bring NK to the top level of HTML wrapper for iOS and Android framework.

:)

I made some testing with the present avaliable version. It is pretty easy to adapt IOS version to Android using Eclipse and Android SD.
Just the problem that the emulator is slow, slow, and have to test on a real device.
Have to adapt the various path from the flat version of IOS/Xcode, to the directories tree of eclipse.
then Adapt the path, if in Nimblekit function from the top directory, and if in HTML javascript as classical relative path.

When can we expect a valid version (even if not fully complete), is somebody working on, what are the progress, ...

Thanks for info !

I'm working on it and already added many classes, it's almost ready for release, but there also web-site must be modified to feature both android and iOS NimbleKit, also I need to change documentation engine on the web-site, etc. So even though the version is almost ready for release I can't release it just now :(

Hi Sunny,

I know you rarely let us know the release date of your updates :P
I don't want to know the exact release time but I would like to know if the release is scheduled within the end of the year or for January or more.
For most of us who planned to publish apps for Android it would be important having some clues about the newest version of NK for Android. I have several and already done apps needed to be converted (unfortunately the beta version had some problems with audio). Any idea about?

Thanks,
