Does this mean there will not be an Nimblekit for Android, cause Sencha compiles ios and android?

- no, there will be a separate package

- all APIs in v 2.0 will be available on iOS and Android both, so when you're making app for one platform it will automatically work on other too without any modifications.

I guess each classes/methods of Nimblekit 2.0 (Senchakit?) will be available both for iOs and Android, except the ones related to specific UI features. Sunny, is this right?

will be the new package available just after the announcement? Does the release take extra time?

Will it be mandatory to use sencha-touch.js with NK derivative ?
Current Sencha Native Packaging supports compiling on Windows. Will NK2.0 also support this ? If so, it will cause a rush by mass developers and we will loose strenght as indie dev compaines.

No

Not all functionality will be available with windows packager

I don't think that will be an issue, especially since NK won't be available separately, only as a part of an SDK which is quite expensive (NK customers will still have access to NK separately and free).

... so is so expensive the sencha license?

By the way I hope that Sencha doesn't kill Nimblekit with the future versions...
I hope that Nimblekit will be always available as separate package.

Thank you Sunny, you are great. And congragulations for Sencha acquisition.

Folks; with BlackBerry Runtime for Android Apps we probably can convert NK Android Apps to run on BB10 and Playbook :)

Will NimbleKit academic licenses still work? Do we submit licenses for academic consideration to the same (nimblekit@nimblekit.com) email address?
I ask because I submitted one last week and haven't heard back - wasn't sure if the delay was Sencha-related.
