Long download

I need to download a variable number of small images (10 - 200 images of about 60Kbytes each) but after 10 images it stops downloading. It stops downloading even if I close the app (running in background). In this case it resume download for some other image then stops.

If I place an alert('downloading...') after or before each download, then I can download all images.

I'm using the object NKFileDownloader, which should be async. I tried reloading the page after each download, but it does not change behavior.

My aim would be download all images in background, but I cannot understand how to achive this.
