Sound's cool, but I make a file and add into project like picture.
It didn't appear.

Whats its size? Mine is the same size as the iphone screen, I´m not sure if the size is smaller if NK does a background repeat css alike.

Right, The image is 1024*748 for iPad. Or it must be 1024*768?

I just created a new sample project and added a simple PNG 1024x768 (24bit) to it and it is working, check it

I think I see the issue. most of my apps are iPad. Doesn't work... When I change simulator to iPhone I see it.

I did. It gave me no image on my iPad behind the Webview. does it need to be 2x ?

The image is 1024x768 I did the test on the ipad simulator. My apps (NK 1.9.6) worked fine maybe a problem with the recent SDK ?
